Photo Gallery: Bevin Bell Factory Fire

A look back in pictures of the fire that destroyed the Bevin Bell Factory in East Hampton.

There was little new to report on Monday following the Sunday morning fire that destroyed the Bevin Bell factory in East Hampton, North America's last bell manufacturing company. Fire crews were at the scene Monday morning in their continuing effort to extinguish some hot spots. By late Monday afternoon, they were gone. Meantime, Monday saw a steady stream of curiosity seekers, photo takers and some who just wanted to say goodbye.

Patch will continue to follow the story throughout the week. Meantime, here is a photo gallery of the fire. Don Martin of South Main Street in East Hampton, provided Patch with some great aerial photos taken Monday morning and Steven Hall shared some terrific shots of the fire, too. Anyone wishing to upload photos or video of the fire, or of the factory before the fire, may do so by clicking on the upload button.
