Police: Two Men Charged in East Hampton Auto Part Thefts

Two 20-year-olds from Enfield and Portland were arrested on charges of stealing from a Walnut Avenue address.

Two men were arrested Friday in connection with theft of auto parts from a Walnut Avenue address.

Kyle Rutkauski, 20, of Enfield, and Brandon Yon, 20, of Portland, were each arrested on charges of third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, possession of burglar tools, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both men were released on $5,000 bond and are due in Middlesex Superior Court on May 21.

Police said both men were arrested following an investigation into the theft of automotive parts from a Walnut Avenue address Friday.

A previous burglary at the same address remains under investigation, police said.
