Portland Police Blotter: Aug. 20-31

The following arrest information was supplied by local police departments. It does not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 20

Elevi Orea, 34, of Jackson Street in Meriden, was charged with driving without a license, having insufficient insurance and making an improper turn on Aug. 20.

Aug. 28

Ryan North, 18, 65 Strongs Ave., Portland, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and traveling too fast on Aug. 28.

Aug. 29

Bryan Crusberg, 35, 98 Rockwell St., Winsted, was arrested and charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny and two counts of second-degree identity theft on Aug. 29

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with driving without a license, not having proper insurance and driving an unregistered motor vehicle on Aug. 29.

Aug. 30

James Goolsby, 24, 93 Spring St., Middletown, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and driving too fast on Aug. 30.

 

Aug. 31

Ines Hull, 35, 20 Strongs Ave., Portland, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct on Aug. 31.

Patrick Lachappelle, 25, 1503 Portland-Colbalt Road, Portland, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Aug. 31.

I'm not real sure what the take away is. It may be me, but I haven't seen a lot of in-depthRead More reporting on either side of the issue. It appears that we will vote and the result will determine what our future holds. I am willing to read whatever is available to become an informed voter. Please advise where the truth in reporting is and where the public information can be accessed.
