Carpino Attends Grand Opening of Portland Business

Portland Collision will specialize in auto body repair.

State Representative Christie Carpino attended the grand opening of Portland Collision LLC., on Route 66 in Portland on Thursday. The business is owned by Grayson and Lisa Mountain, of Portland, and will specialize in auto body repair.

“I wish the Mountain's all the luck in the world as they embark on their new journey as business owners," Carpino said. "It is great to see a new business open in our community - particularly one owned by Portland residents. It is my hope Portland continues to see additional businesses open their doors in town and reinvigorate the Connecticut economy."

"State government should not be an impediment to being a successful business and I offered to help Grayson and Lisa Mountain in any way possible if they need assistance navigating the Connecticut maze of red tape,” Carpino said.
