BOE .. Real Involvement

The Democratic candidates for the Board of Education have been town residents for 15 to 55 years. They are truly committed to living in East Hampton and raising their family here. They are your friends and neighbors and our community builders.

Ken Barber is a practicing local attorney with a strong commitment to public education. He is a busy Dad and plans his days around supporting his wife, Michelle and being there for his daughters. He is a former Police Sergeant, belongs  to Anchor Lodge, and is a past president of the East Hampton Rotary Club. Carol Williams is a tenured teacher in South Windsor and has lived in East Hampton with her husband and children for 20 years. She is a regular supporter of the BOE and has attended their meetings for years. Denise Russo is a past president of the PTO and has won several education awards. She has lived in East Hampton with her husband and children for 15 years. Teri Knotek Schlosser is a 55 year resident of East Hampton. She is a past president of the Village Lions Club. She is a Math teacher in Colchester and a recipient of the Friends of Education Award.
