East Hampton Town Clerk: Renew Your Dog License Online!

East Hampton residents can use their computers to renew their dog licenses, rather than heading to town hall.

The East Hampton Town Clerk's office is reminding town residents that June is the month to head to the town's website and renew your dog's license online!

Residents are reminded that dogs must be licensed between June 1st and June 30th.  Town Clerk Sandi Wielaba is reminding dog owners that East Hampton residents can renew their dog licenses online through the town's website, rather than having to head to town hall.

Just visit this page on the East Hampton town website and renew your dog's license by the end of the month.

Connecticut dog laws mandate that dogs older than six months this June must be licensed or their licenses must be renewed in June with the Town Clerk's office.

It costs $19 to licence each intact dog and $8 for each of your spayed or neutered dogs.

When you go in for your dog’s tags, you must present an up-to-date certificate of vaccination against rabies that is signed by a veterinarian. If you're overdue to license your dog, you may be charged $1 for each month that your dog was not licensed.

Once you get them, the dog tags need to be attached to the dog’s collar.
