My name is Kyle Dostaler and I’m running for Town Council with the Chatham Party.

I hold a B.S. in Political Science with post-graduate advanced studies. Currently I am a self-employed Information Technology professional and a web developer.

Before becoming a freelance consultant and developer, I worked in several business environments including a large international law firm as a Systems Administrator, a national legal placement services company as an IT Manager, and as an Internet application developer for a web-based electronic invoicing company. These experiences have given me the hands-on perspective necessary to understand business challenges and offer viable, sustainable solutions.

Make Our Great Town a Better One

In 2005 the Chatham Party was created in reaction to what was then happening is East Hampton. We were a small, untested group and new to the political scene. Fast forward to 2011, and now we’re a much larger group of people, open to new ideas from residents with a diversity of backgrounds and professional and life experience. We’re a collection of Democrats, Republicans and Independents who are looking to make our great Town a better one.

What We Will Do

With your vote, one of the Town Council’s first order of business will be to get out of the Police Department’s business and allow the Police Chief and our officers to settle their differences and get back in the business of public safety, not politics.

With your vote, a majority Chatham Party Town Council will move forward with a nationwide search to hire a competent and experienced Town Manager who will be able to balance the needs of residents while keeping special political interests in check.
