Road Work Scheduled in East Hampton

Work to be done in Middle Haddam.

 

The Public Works Department wants to advise residents that there is road work planned in Middle Haddam during May. The work will consist of pavement shimming followed by a two-course chip seal. 

The road work is scheduled as follows:

Shim paving and patching May 10 and 11:

  • Knowles Road
  • Shad Row
  • Blacksmith Hill Road
  • Shipyard Road

Two-course chip seal May 24 and 25 (rain date June 11 and 12):

Residents are reminded there will be no on-street parking during the scheduled road work. Residents are further advised to park away from the edge of the road to avoid any overspray from damaging their vehicles. The paved parking area at the Middle Haddam Library will be resurfaced as part of this work and accordingly residents are asked to not park at the library on these days.
