East Hampton Town Council to hold special session on building of solar arrays
The East Hampton Town Council will discuss allowing the construction of land-based solar arrays near the water pollution control authority.
At the Jan. 11 town council meeting, Ron Gaudet of White Oak Development, presented a plan to build a land-based solar array on the property between WPCA and Public Works. Under the plan, there would be no cost to the town for this project. White Oak would build the array and sell the power back to the town at a discount.
