East Hampton Girls Soccer Wins 3-0 Against East Haddam

The Bellringers outshot Hale Ray High School 25-3 and controlled possession for most of the game.

The East Hampton girls varsity soccer team won it's match Wednesday 3-0 versus Hale Ray High School in East Haddam.

East Hampton outshot Hale Ray 25-3 and controlled possession for most of the game. East Hampton's goal keeper Alison Bristol got the shut out with the help of a strong defense including Madison Reinhard, Morgan Slossberg, McKenzie germain and Kylie Hanlon.

Goals were scored by Cassie Easter with an assist from Kayla Mclaughlin and two goals from Stephanie Bock, one assisted by Kiara Hanlon and the other by Katie Williams.

East Hampton was able to dictate the tempo of the game right from the start and kept near constant pressure on the Hale Ray defense. Hale Ray battled through the entire match but just couldn't mount a comeback.

Hale Ray's keeper Fay Cooley had 16 saves in the match. East Hampton is now 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the Shoreline conference small division.
