East Hampton Seeking High School Senior Photos from 1940-62

Every year, the East Hampton High School senior class posed in front of the U.S. Capitol, but some class photos normally posted at the high school are missing.

A section of East Hampton High School that contains senior class photos of students posted in front of the U.S. Capitol contains a few notable omissions.

The Middletown Press reported that a number of class photos from 1940 to 1962 are currently not displayed along the corridor along the east wall of the school auditorium. The issue came about earlier this year when a number of alumni came to the district to talk about the missing photos.

The Press reported that Superintendent Kevin Reich has received a number of class pictures from 1962 onward, but not in prior years. So, the district is trying to correct the incomplete collection and it is looking for those who have any of these class photos to consider bringing them in.
