East Hampton Seeking Public Input on Superintendent Search

The town's Board of Education has set up an online survey and is asking for parents and community members to participate.

The East Hampton Board of Education is seeking input from the public in its search for a new superintendent to succeed Dr. Judith Golden.

Golden is scheduled to retire at the end of the school year and the board has set up an online survey asking both parents and members of the community to offer feedback and input on what they'd like to see in a new school chief.

Here's a link to the survey.

The survey is eight questions and the answers are a mix of multiple choice response and text response. There’s also room for extra comments.

Golden, a 42-year veteran of the education field, announced in March that she would step down in December per an agreement worked out between her and the board.
