Keeping the East Hampton Board of Ed Up-to-Date

Representatives from all of East Hampton schools brief the board on the news from their school.

If you don't make it to the regular meetings of the East Hampton Board of Education, then you miss out on one of its nicer features, or traditions.

From time-to-time student representatives from Memorial School, Center School and the Middle School attend and stand before the board to update it on what has and will be happening at their schools. A high school student council representative regularly attends the board of ed meetings for that same purpose, and this year that has been Jamie Sutcliffe.

For the purpose of this brief article, however, Patch wanted to shine the spotlight on the non-high school students for the great job they did corralling the butterflies long enough at the April 11 meeting to give their important news.
