The rain on Friday could not stop the annual Panther Fest at East Hampton Middle School, only delay it.
Schools from across the state will be on hand to participate in soccer and cross-country events beginning at 3 p.m. Events will continue throughout the afternoon and under the lights.
Everyone is invited to attend. Admission is free. Food and drinks will be available at the concession stand.
