Portland school officials have notified parents that there will be no classes on Monday, October 29 when Hurricane Sandy is expected to be at its height.
The district joins a long list of others across the state that are cancelling classes in anticipation of the huge storm, which is expected to have high and sustained winds starting late tonight.
