Two Portland High Students Honored for Excellence in Art

Two local students were recently honored as among the top 350 state seniors in the arts.
Portland High School students Michael Catanzaro and Samantha Webber were recently recognized for excellence in the arts at the Connecticut Association of Schools High School Outstanding Arts Awards Banquet, according to a CAS press release.
The banquet, which was held at Aqua Turf in Southington, recognizes two seniors in each high school for outstanding achievement and ability in the performing and visual arts.
Catanzaro and Webber were selected by Portland High School to be honored at the banquet, which is sponsored by Jostens and Bearingstar Insurance.
