Fishing Report

What's biting and where.

Recent bouts of more comfortable weather have moderated water temperatures some, but flows are getting a bit low in some areas, especially in northeastern Connecticut, which has been bypassed by several recent thunderstorms. These summer conditions make early and late in the day the best fishing times for rivers and streams throughout the state. Anglers are advised not to forget terrestrial fly patterns, these can be very productive at this time of the year.
