Although Connecticut River flows have increased a bit the past week, the best bet is still Catfish.
One angler reporting a catch of 10 fish, one 11.2 lbs and 28.5 inches. Sunfish and locally caught cut bait are being used successfully for them. The best time is at night, targeting the outside bends in the river and the upstream side of the deeper holes of the river near structure.
