The boys' All-State Soccer awards were handed out on Sunday at the Aqua Turf in Southington. Senior Bryant Tobler, Portland High School, senior Kenneth Steer, East Hampton High School, junior Andrew Geres, Portland High School and sophomore Matthew Vasquenza, East Hampton High School (all in the back row) earned All-State recognition. Geres was also honored as an All-New England selection. Senior Alex Kidd, Portland High School (forefront), was honored as one of two recipients of the CIAC Special Coaches Awards.
