Belltown Open Golf Tournament Wednesday: Due to rainout last week, the Belltown Open Golf Tournament was rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Glastonbury Hills Country Club. Onsite registration starts at 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. with the shot gun start.

East Hampton VFW Ladies Auxiliary Meeting Wednesday: The regular meeting of the East Hampton Ladies Auxiliary to Post 5095 will be held at 7 p.m., where they will be finalizing plans for the Sept. 14 Lobster Fest.  And speaking of which…

East Hampton VFW Lobster Fest This Saturday: The East Hampton VFW post 5095 and their Ladies Auxiliary is hosting a Lobster Fest on Saturday, Sept. 14, from noon to 5 p.m. at 20 North Maple St. in East Hampton. If you bought your tickets, don’t forget this Saturday is the promised day!

East Hampton GOP Autumn Auction on Thursday: Join the East Hampton GOP at Angelico’s Lake House Restaurant at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, for their Annual Autumn Auction.

Yellow Ribbon Tying Ceremony on Thursday: The East Hampton Welcome Home Veterans/Yellow Ribbon Committee is holding a Yellow Ribbon tying ceremony in the Village Center by the Yellow Ribbon tree for U.S. Army 1st Lt. Sebastiano Nane, U.S. Army PFC Joshua Reid, and U.S. Army Ryan Bousquet.
