Melissa Schlag, Neighbor

Melissa Schlag Proulx graduated from Ellington High School where she was the student liason for the Hartford Courant and founded the school's literary magazine, A Knight's Tale, and was Yearbook Editor in Chief.  She then graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA in English.

She currently lives in Haddam, volunteers her time working on the Haddam Bulletin, various town committees and video tapes town meetings.

But she is most often seen in her ripped jeans with paint in her hair working at her real job;  her own cleaning, repair and painting business -- where she makes the money to pay her mortgage...
