East Hampton Daisies collecting items for deployed servicemen and women on Memorial Day

East Hampton Daisy Troop 62153 is collecting items for care packages to be sent to deployed servicemen and women. They will have a table set up at the East Hampton Congregational Church during and for awhile after the Memorial Day Parade on Monday May 27th for folks to drop off items that can be sent oversees. The Daisies are looking for items such as: Snacks such as Energy Bars; Beef Jerky; Trail Mix; Nuts; Sunflower Seeds; Candy; Ready-to-eat Tuna or Chicken Salad kits; Single serving Powdered Beverage Mixes; Single serving boxes of cold cereal; Single serving packets of hot cereal, Personal Care Products such as Lip Balm; Toothpaste; Toothbrushes; Roll-on Deodorant; Razors; Individual packets of moist towelettes; Hand/Foot Warmers or Foot powder (travel size). And miscellaneous items such as Beanie Babies, Webkinz, Trolls, or other small plush toys; Candy; Socks (preferably black, brown, green, or tan – not white); Mini battery-powered fans, and blank greeting cards or stationary.
