Police: Man Brandished Shotgun at Lake Drive Apartments

Police say a Lake Drive Apartment resident was acting irrational and carrying a shotgun around the complex Thursday.

An East Hampton man was arrested Thursday after police responded to a report of an armed, irrational man carrying a shotgun around a Lake Drive apartment complex.

East Hampton Police Officers Salafia and Wilson responded to the Lake Drive complex and police established a perimeter. Officer Salafia then made contact with Tyler Brush, 32, of 136 Lake Drive, East Hampton.

Brush surrendered without incident, and his weapon was seized. The police perimeter

Brush was arrested and charged with breach of peace and drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior Court on July 30.
