September 8, 2012: Celebration of the Horse at Mitchell Farm
An affordable family event that features the special relationships that people have with horses. The event is an afternoon of demonstrations and exhibitions from the different disciplines from the equestrian world.
This year's Celebration will include Bettina Drummond and a thrilling ride to music on her Stallion Que Macho, Ann Guptill with a magical freestyle dressage, carriage driving, show jumping, sidesaddle, Beech Brook Farm and their gaited horses, the Conn Valley Pony Club with a games rally and more! Families can bring a picnic or they can purchase food from vendors invited by the farm to participate in the event. Please bring a lawn chair of a blanket.
Show Time: 2 p.m. Gate opens at 12:30 p.m.
